About
About QATribe
Hi, I’m Ajit — a Lead QA Engineer and Test Automation Architect based in Pune, India. I’ve spent over 12 years building and leading test automation efforts across BFSI, Wealth Management, Healthcare, and Payments, working with companies including SS&C Technologies, Wolters Kluwer, Fiserv, and Excellon Software.
QATribe started as a way to write down what I was learning — and quickly turned into something bigger. Over the years I’ve built automation frameworks from the ground up, mentored QA engineers moving into automation and SDET roles, and sat on both sides of the interview table more times than I can count. QATribe is where all of that goes: deep, practical, no-fluff technical content for QA engineers and SDETs who actually want to get better at the craft, not just skim a tutorial.
What You’ll Find Here
- Test automation deep-dives — Selenium (C# and Java), and Playwright with TypeScript, covering real framework design decisions, not just syntax
- Interview preparation — question banks, mock scenarios, and the kind of guidance I wish I’d had earlier in my career
- AI in QA — how AI tools are changing test automation, debugging, and the SDET role itself
- Career guidance — for QA engineers looking to grow into SDET, automation architect, or QA leadership roles
Who This Is For
QATribe is written primarily for QA engineers and SDETs in India who are serious about leveling up their automation skills and cracking better interviews — and increasingly for a growing audience of testers in the US and elsewhere who are working through the same problems.
Why “QATribe”
Because testing is a craft best learned in community. Every article here is written the way I’d explain it to a colleague — with real examples, honest trade-offs, and enough depth that you can actually apply it on Monday morning.
